About the Brandjectory Pitch Slam

The 2023 Brandjectory Pitch Slam showcased five high-quality seed-to-Series A stage CPG brands across food, beverage, adult beverage, personal care, nutrition, and pet care categories, with the Brandjectory twist: we didn’t just want to crown a winner, all applicants get feedback on what resonated for investors and what needs work, to help founders learn, adjust, and improve their chances to secure funding in any venue.

A massive THANK YOU to Tetra Pak who sponsored this year’s Pitch Slam along with over 30 wonderful sponsors who collectively offered over $250,000 in cash and prizes to our finalists.

Supporting the event was a community of CPG investors and industry experts serving as selection committee members, pitch mentors, and event judges.

Yuval Selik & Alla Korot!

  • A recovering CPG founder, Yuval knows all too well the challenges of building a CPG Brand. Alongside his wife, Alla, they passionately launched their organic skincare line, L’uvalla. Despite the dream and dedication, they were met with the harsh realities of how unforgiving the CPG industry can be, especially for emerging brands.

    Yuval's resilience and learnings from the L'uvalla journey culminated in the founding of Promomash. As its Founder and CEO, Yuval's mission is to provide a safety net and guide for brand founders, enabling them to sidestep the pitfalls he and many others have faced. Promomash is at the forefront of supporting the unique needs of emerging brands aiming for retail success.

    Beyond his ventures in the CPG industry, Yuval has confronted personal trials that have reshaped his outlook on life. Almost losing his health and marriage in the pursuit of business success, he realized the significance of balance across various life domains. This epiphany led to "The 7 Hats Podcast." As its host, Yuval delves into the seven crucial areas of life that demand attention and harmony, offering listeners insights and strategies for a fulfilling, inspired, balanced life.

  • Alla Korot has made a significant mark in Hollywood over her 33-year acting career. Renowned for her roles in two major daytime soap operas and a variety of guest appearances on prime TV shows, she's been a steadfast figure in the entertainment industry. Beyond the screen, Alla took on the entrepreneurial world by co-founding L'uvalla, a French luxury aromatherapy skincare line, which she successfully took national. This endeavor, filled with its share of challenges, was the catalyst for creating Promomash. Alongside Yuval Selik, they established Promomash with a mission to guide brand founders, ensuring they avoid the pitfalls and challenges they experienced firsthand.

Luke Abbot!

  • Luke is a Senior executive, consultant, and entrepreneur with experience in raising capital, accounting, deduction management, CEO coaching, and retail domination best practices. As the President of Monterrey Provisions, he scaled and grew the company from $32M to $250M+ in revenue, and launched 3 startups along the way. Currently, as CEO and Coach at Vdriven, Luke helps emerging brands in all aspects of retail.

  • Steven has been a managing partner at Compass Natural Marketing for over 20 years.

    About Steve Hoffman, Tales of Hoffman.

    He has performed at numerous venues around Boulder County, Colorado, and the U.S. His style as a singer-songwriter is acoustic folk/rock/country/blues/R&B.

    With a combination of standards and original songs, his acoustic style is complimentary for microbreweries, cafes, restaurants, outdoor settings, and any sized venues, inside or outside, depending on your needs and preferences.
